Headphones DIY

Hello everyone how was your day? Mine was good I did absolutely nothing I lounged around the house all day it was fantastic ;) Anyways I did do one small project though. I decorated my headphones! It all started at 2:00 AM (all of you know I'm nocturnal) when I was looking at Pinterest and saw this and knew I had to do it! Me and my sister Courtney always gets ours confused and now this won't be a problem. All you have to do is cut perler beads and slip them on. It's a little bit tricky slipping them on but don't give up; by the end you'll be a pro. Happy beading!!!

Hello lovelies!
May I just say this blog is so not me? I am completely angry at myself for not accepting that from the start my dream for this blog is to have fun with it, share my crafts, glittery tips and dreams. I am going to remodel this blog to make it me. I'm not good at technology and I'm sure most of you think that a blog isn't too hard but if you think that then you would be wrong for the techno handicapped haha. Sad but true. I can't wait to have this adventure of remodeling my blog and this time I will have a blast doing it the right way I will not become stressed... I need to remind myself that a LOT! :)

Hi fellow bloggers it's been a while since I last checked in so I would just like to apologize for that but I am up and blogging again! I found out how to finally upload pictures; I know I'm probaly the last person on earth who didn't know how to do that and wanted to ha ha. One thing about me you may not know is I'm really bad with computers in fact I'm pretty sure they detest me to. But I have fought through the desire to throw my computer across the room and start blogging wink-wink. I have thought up and already done many crafts when I was on my blogging break so I have a lot to share so be prepared. Anyways the picture above is a  picture of what I painted I love to paint and I find inspiration in sweets because not only do I love to craft but I LOVE to bake!!! flower power and books about books!

Hi followers! Sorry I haven't written in a little while but have been crazy busy with all my craft projects! So here is an update. I took up knitting and may I just say I'm having a blast with it I decided for my first knitting project I would do a scarf but if you know me at all I cannot stop at just a plain scarf so I decided to do a charcoal scarf with flecks of color then ontop of that will be knitted flowers. Knitted flowers are so much fun making and come out so pretty I'm also very excited making them because I am hot gluing them to magnets. I will try to upload pictures soon but I'm still trying to figure out how to do that! By the way I would also like to tell you which knitting flower loom I used and it's the nifty knitter flower loom my opinion on it is it's a pretty good loom but the directions can be a little confusing at times because of all the numbers so I recommend you labeling the pegs with thier number.

I recently went to my favorite store called Anthropoligie one of my family members gave me a giftcard there and I have been dying to use it so I went for the long drive and went to anthropologie and I got a book about book projects see I've recently used books that I've read or changed my mind about and have been thinking of crafts of to do with them. ( One of my new craft hobbies ) Before I found this book at Anthropologie I read about it in my BUST magazine and knew the minute I saw it in there I wanted to buy it but I hate paying for shipping so was suprised and thrilled to find it in Anthropologie! Anyways if this seems like your cup of tea or more logically your kind of read its called The Repurposed Library by Lisa Occhipinti. It has 33 brilliant projects from a book mobile to  birdhouse it has it all! Glittery Girl signing off..............<3

Help at our Neediest

Why is it that at the time we need comfort or support most that we stray away from it as much as we can? I don't know about you but in my family we have quite a few people that are like this including myself. It's like we don't want to be any trouble even if someone's trying to go out of their way to help us. I notice also that a lot of people who are troubled for a little bit whether it's loosing a loved one or just going through a struggling time like being fired that we need God the most but we choose to pray less and less till were barely talking to him anymore. Does anyone ever feel like this? Well anyways I'd just like to encourage that we are all here to help echother and don't feel bad taking it. Especially when your friends are offering it because chances are they know you need it whether you know you need it or not.

Letters becoming Unwritten

Every once in a while I find myself captivated in my thoughts about how technology has changed everything. I know very many people that look at all the changes it has brought to us positively. I love technology and   cannot honestly say that I'm not good at understanding it. I do however love the IPhone and admit to becoming an avid user and thriving on how well and far we have gotten with technology. I do however find myself looking at the negative part of technology way more. I miss the days where all we had were good old fashioned books that had pages to fold down when we took a break from our good read. I miss not having to worry that we would stop having newspapers. I now vow on my new blog that will someday hopefully have followers that will do me the honor of hearing their own passionate opinions :) but anyway getting off topic here I vow to write more and not just on my blog but writing a letter everyday to one of the many fantastic people in my life :) If that means turning off the T.V. way more or not allowing myself to get indulge in as much web searching time then I will do it! I challenge my hopefully soon existing followers ha ha to do the same!

Bust and not what is yet another word for the chest of a woman but the fantastic magazine called BUST.

I was in Books a Million when I was looking for a good read but what yet had to be a magazine. See I have this book I have to read for a class I'm in and it's not a book that I quite fancy yet to say the least! So anyways I don't let myself buy any more books because I know I'll read all the books I actually want to before I complete the book I'm dreading! This is the moment I came along a fantastic indie, artsy and fantastic magazine named BUST. All I can say about this magazine are good things! It inspires a woman that never paints to pick up a paintbrush or a woman who can only cook eggs in a microwave want to make fantastic looking coconut meatballs with coconut rum dipping sauce! The request for you I am getting to is please go to your bookstore and indulge yourself to a fantastic read!
